What is so revolutionary about Color Wow Color Security Shampoo?

Color Security Shampoo is a 180-degree departure from typical color care products. Not only formulated without sulfates, it also has NO SILICONES, NO CONDITIONING AGENTS, NO PEARLIZING AGENTS…one or more of which is found in virtually every shampoo on the market. These ingredients leave behind residues that not only dull the hair, but can actually clog the follicle and worse than that can impede new hair growth.

Can Color Security Shampoo be used on all hair types?

Yes! It is a sulfate-free shampoo so it is very gentle. Because we’ve taken out all the unnecessary ingredients, it won’t dull hair, weigh it down, or impede new hair growth like traditional shampoos so it is recommended for all hair types.

I have extensions and am afraid to wash them. Is Color Security shampoo a safe choice?

It is the perfect choice for washing…and prolonging! extensions because the formula has NO SILICONES OR CONDITIONING AGENTS: ingredients that are literally used to loosen and detach extensions.

Can Color Security Shampoo be used on hair that has had a keratin treatment?

Yes, our shampoo is safe, mild and perfectly suited for hair that has had a keratin treatment.

Color Security Conditioner

Who should use it?

Fine, thin, or fragile hair that needs light hydration that won’t flatten hair. Hair that tangles easily. Color treated hair and chemically treated hair. Curly and textured hair.

How to use

After shampooing with Color Security Shampoo, apply a small amount to wet hair, starting about 2 inches from scalp, and distribute evenly along hair strand to ends. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Style as desired.

Do I have to use Color Security Shampoo with Color Security Conditioner?

Color Security Shampoo and Conditioners are complementary and were developed to be used together. Color Security Shampoo leaves behind no color dulling or darkening ingredients or agents that can clog follicles and impede growth. Color Security Conditioner delivers critical moisturizing agents WITHOUT TYPICAL CONDITIONING AGENTS that can oxidize on the hair, corrupt the color and turn it brassy. Using both formulas, you an always come clean… and keep your color wow!

Which of the two Color Security Conditioning formulas is right for me?

Color Security “fine-to-normal” is a lightweight, anti-flattening formula for fine/thin color-treated hair.

Color Security “normal-to-thick” is a smoothing, cuticle-sealing formula for normal coarse or curly color-treated hair.

Dream Filter

Who should use it?

Anyone who has hard water or well water, or swims in chlorinated pools. If you have blonde, grey, or white natural or color-treated hair. If you have any shade of color-treated hair that looks orange, brassy, greenish. If you have coarse, stiff, dull, unresponsive hair. Before color processing.

How to use

Apply to dry hair before shampooing. Spray evenly to saturate hair thoroughly. Wait 1-3 minutes, then shampoo. For best results, use Color Wow Color Security Shampoo and Color Security Conditioner.

What elements does Dream Filter remove from hair?

  • Calcium, Magnesium, Aluminum: Leave behind heavy buildup, which dulls color, weighs hair down and makes it feel dry.
  • Iron, Manganese: Discolor hair by causing it to oxidize, resulting in brassiness.
  • Copper: Interferes with color processing by acting as a catalyst with developers, accelerating their strength and causing damage inside and out.
  • Chlorine: Produces a green tint on light hair and causes dark hair to turn even darker.

Does Dream Filter affect color processing?

Yes, in a good way! Dream Filter removes metals (like copper and manganese) that act as catalysts to accelerate developers, which can lead to unpredictable results and damage to hair, inside and out. Dream Filter should be used prior to a lightening service to ensure best results.

Is Dream Filter color safe?

Yes, it is pH balanced and does not contain any harsh ingredients.

Is Dream Filter keratin safe?

Yes, it does not contain any ingredients that will adversely affect a keratin treatment.

Will Dream Filter work on wet hair?

Yes, but when hair is wet Dream Filter gets diluted and cannot work as effectively. For best results, apply Dream Filter to dry hair.

Can I use other products with Dream Coat - both wet and dry?

When hair is dry, you can use your normal styling products. The next time you shampoo, you can use other wet stylers.
